Cities connected by music: Design of A Music Space
Spatial Requirements
Even though the students are free to draft their spatial program, we expect each student to include these spaces in their functions.
-
A performance space for single/group singer(s) / dancer(s) depending on student’s research & design scenario.
-
Exhibition space(s) for the history & memory of this music(ian) or group and an information area.
-
At least one wet space (restroom is a must; kitchenette, bathroom, etc. optional) depending on student’s research & design scenario.
-
Other Activity Space(s) depending on student’s research & design scenario.
Notes:
-
It is important to consider closed, semi-closed, and open spaces in a balanced way depending on student’s design scenario. In addition, the closed spaces of the project should be no bigger than 100 m2.
-
The open area in the public space may be considered for spectators/audience.
